Nominations ceased on 10/31/08 for participation in AREF's new Memorial Scholarship Program. Two awards, in the amount of $1000 each, will be given away to honor the memories of Mr. J.C. Portis, a founding board member in 1959 and Mr. E.B. Whitaker, the first general manager. Scholarships recipients will be notified in the Fall of 2009.
